Adina Sydney Darling Harbour reopens
After closing in the second half of 2025 for a multi-million-dollar revamp, the 114-key Adina Darling Harbour has reopened in close proximity to Sydney’s convention centre, ICC Sydney.
According to TFE Hotels, the refurbishment, designed by Bates Smart, has “reorientated” the hotel to the waterfront.
Guest rooms, public spaces and the hotel’s four meeting spaces have all received attention during the refurbishment, while a new all-day restaurant, called Shoreline Kitchen, has been added as part of the hotel’s transformation.
“With this refurbishment, we are firmly repositioning Adina Darling Harbour as a contemporary harbourside base – and one that reflects how people want to travel and stay in the city today,” said TFE Hotels’ CEO, Antony Ritch.
“It’s part of our ongoing investment in our first-generation Adina portfolio, with a sharp focus on design and the guest experience.”
Other first-generation Adina properties set for transformation include those in Melbourne, Adelaide and Darwin. Adina Town Hall in Sydney has already completed an impressive transformation.
Opening date set for The Langham in Bangkok
Following a significant restoration, redevelopment and expansion of an existing historic site on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok will open on December 20 this year.
The property comprises the history-steeped Custom House building, offering event and hospitality spaces, alongside a new contemporary building in which the hotel’s 60 rooms and 15 suites will be located, alongside a fitness centre and a Chuan Spa.
“For generations, Custom House served as Thailand’s gateway to the world, and we are proud to see it preparing to welcome the world again as part of The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok,” said Langham Hospitality Group’s CEO, Bob van den Oord.
