Exhibitions in this quarter cover a variety of industries of critical importance to Australians and Australia’s priorities on the global stage. The Australian Government recently highlighted its international ambitions through a “future made in Australia” catchcry.
A range of construction shows – both B2B and B2C – are taking place, a heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration show is set for the end of the month while the Australian Manufacturing Week exhibition already welcomed 6,000 attendees and 270 exhibitors.
“In the lead up to Global Exhibitions Day, it is timely to mark the great impact the exhibitions market has in boosting business,” said ICC Sydney CEO Geoff Donaghy.
“Exhibitions continue to underscore significant economic and social benefits in the local economy and positively impact suppliers.
“Not only are opportunities created for businesses in key growing markets such as construction, manufacturing or renewable energy, but the economic impact of these shows and the audiences they attract are enjoyed right across the country.”
The Sydney Build Expo, which took place at the beginning of May attracted 50,000 attendees and 600 exhibitors from the construction industry, alongside 500 speakers. Next year, the show is expanding again to take out ICC Sydney’s entire exhibition centre.
Meanwhile, ARBS 2024, the show for heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration professionals, is set to be record breaking this year.
“ARBS 2024 will be the biggest yet,” said ARBS Exhibitions CEO Amanda Searle.
“Featuring over 340 local and international exhibitors and an anticipated 9,000 visitors, the event will showcase leading-edge technology and practices in sustainable HVAC&R and building services.
“ARBS is proud to demonstrate how we actively contribute to the ‘Future Made in Australia’ vision, highlighting this sector’s vital role in advancing sustainable and efficient building technologies,” she said.
Global Exhibitions Day will take place on June 5, 2024, highlighting the impact exhibitions have on the world.
