A new small event space has opened on the 380-acre property, able to accommodate groups of up to 38 in theatre or 14 attendees for board room meetings. The retreat also has several other spaces, indoors and outside, that can be used for breakouts and networking, including a 96m2 café that can be transformed into an event space for 38 seated.
Alongside upgrading its accommodation inventory, Eden Retreat has added wifi to some areas of the property, boosting its credentials to host working groups.
Corporate retreat groups can also access the substantial wellness offerings of the retreat as part of their program. Catering for events is handled by the onsite kitchen, which also has wellness as a guide to its culinary offering.
“Organisations are rethinking what effective offsites look like,” said Eden Retreat’s general manager, Ash Martin.
“Leaders are looking for environments that support clarity, connection and outcomes, while still being located close to a major airport and city for accessibility.
“This offering allows teams to work deeply, recover properly and return to work genuinely reset.”
The retreat is located 30 minutes’ drive from Gold Coast Airport and 90 minutes’ drive from the Brisbane CBD.
“Time efficiency matters for executive teams,” said Martin.
“Being able to land, transfer directly to the retreat and immediately shift into a focused environment is a major advantage.”
Groups can book out the entire retreat – including its 48 guest rooms – or the Upper Valley section, which has 24 rooms, situated adjacent to the retreat’s meeting rooms.
The retreat has over 50 wellness treatments and sessions available, which can be utilised by groups. Onsite facilities include the Eden Spa, alongside saunas, ice baths, heated spas, swimming pools, tennis courts and a gym.
