DMS Destination Marketing Services opens Melbourne office
The Sydney-based tourism representation company opened an office in Melbourne this week as incentive interest surges.

DMS Destination Marketing Services says it has seen “significant” growth in interest for high-end incentive programs and leisure travel over the last 18 months.

The company provides access to a global network of destination management companies for Australian incentive planners delivering international programs, as well as providing services for luxury leisure travellers.

“With this expansion, we’re poised to enhance our MICE offerings and actively grow our leisure presence while catering to the growing demand for unique travel experiences,” said DMS managing director, Marissa Fernandez, who is also on the global board for the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE).

To head up their Melbourne presence, DMS have appointed Mush Daniels, bringing her back to Australia from one of the company’s DMC partners, Dragonfly Africa.

Daniels has previously worked for Corporate Traveller Australia and South Africa and in sales for hotel brand Mantra.

“Mush is the missing link we’ve been looking for to amplify our presence in the leisure market, especially with the recent increase in inquiries,” said Fernandez.

Incentive planners will have an opportunity to meet Daniels at the DMS Connect Roadshow that DMS will stage in early February 2025 in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney.
