Brisbane’s Princess Theatre offers cozy new meeting space
The Princess Theatre has added its upstairs Gallery to the list of hireable spaces in the venue – and it comes with its own private bar.

The Princess Theatre is Queensland’s oldest surviving theatre and has offered up its main auditorium space for business events of up to 500 attendees for some time.

Now, the theatre has introduced its first floor Gallery for small meetings, lunches and events.

The sumptuous space includes a boardroom table, a lounge area, a private bar and an outdoor balcony.

The Gallery can accommodate up to 20 for a meeting, 32 for private dining and up to 100 for a cocktail function.

“The Gallery is a hidden gem inside The Princess Theatre, featuring all of the grandeur of the main space at a fraction of the cost,” said The Princess Theatre’s events director, Harry Upton.

“We often receive comments from hirers and guests that the creative surrounds of the theatre lead to increased engagement and enjoyment for guests so it’s exciting to unveil this next stage.”

Following a meeting, attendees can have a drink on the balcony adjoining the Gallery. It is also possible to arrange group tickets to performances at the Princess Theatre as an add-on to a meeting.

The Gallery is available for hire from 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday.
