The show brings together buyers and sellers from across the global business events industry at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas around this time every year.
In 2025, IMEX America had over 17,000 participants, including 6,000 buyers, 4,700 of them hosted. The show floor was the biggest to date and more than 90,000 scheduled meetings took place.
Both Australia and New Zealand had strong presences at the show.
This year’s IMEX America built on what was a record event in 2024, which saw over 15,500 industry stakeholders take part in the show.
IMEX flagged strong demand for the event back in August, announcing that hosted buyer registrations were 25 per cent higher than at the same time in 2024.
“This has been a record-breaking week where we’ve seen first-hand how transformative it is for our industry to meet face to face, to shake hands, do business and build bonds,” said IMEX CEO, Carina Bauer.
“The strength in numbers across the board is a sign of a sector that’s both purposeful and powerful right now.
“I’m delighted to announce that we’re building on a successful 2025 edition by solidifying our foundations for the future.
“We’ve signed contracts with MGM to host the show here at Mandalay Bay through to 2030 and also with our service contractors GES through to 2030 as well.
“These renewals give all our partners and clients added confidence and certainty for the future. In addition, we’ve confirmed our strategic partnership with MPI for the next five years.”
IMEX also owns IMEX Frankfurt, which had a strong run back in May, with its largest show floor ever, although participation in IMEX America significantly trumps the European show, which had around 13,000 participants, including “well over” 4,000 buyers.
IMEX America will take place in 2026 from October 13 to 15.
