The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 10 – 12 February 2025.

Produced in partnership with the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME)

Held for the past 32 years, AIME is the number one event for the business events community in Asia Pacific and brings together international and local event planners and connects them with the best destinations, venues and event suppliers from around the world.

In 2025, for the first time the global exhibitions association UFI will co-locate its 2025 Asia-Pacific Conference in Melbourne with AIME, holding it at MCEC on 13-14 February.

AIME Event Director Silke Calder says AIME 2025 will be an incredible event.

The 2025 event is set to be our biggest our team has ever produced! AIME 2024 was the biggest AIME for a decade and this year we’re continuing that growth, expanding the show floor at our MCEC home to welcome more than 650 exhibitors – with more than 200 new to AIME – along with 650 hosted buyers and to accommodate the 20,000 meetings that are set to take place across the event,” she says.

Calder says the team works tirelessly year-round to create an event that truly is an outstanding, world-class “must-attend” business event in the Asia Pacific region.

“We are so proud that AIME was again awarded the Best Exhibition or Trade Show at the 2024 Australian Event Awards. It is the third year running AIME has received this prestigious award, which we believe cements AIME as the premier business event for the meetings and events industry in Asia Pacific.”

AIME 2025 set to be a smash hit
More than 25 countries will be represented at AIME 2025

In 2025, two new international pavilions, Singapore and Thailand, will join 29 countries represented at the event.

Dedicated zones first introduced in 2024, including The Boutique and DMC Network, have expanded their showcase of bespoke and highly customisable experiences, including wineries, distilleries, and intimate, design-led luxury venues.

Reflecting the increased demand for travel and accommodation, the hotel zone has also grown significantly, as has the representation of Australian states, including Victoria, NSW and Queensland.

The Knowledge Program launches AIME on 10 February with inspiring keynote speakers along with industry business leaders who will address 1,500 global event professionals attending the first day of AIME 2025.

There will be 20 breakout sessions following, so attendees can tailor their learning experience to best suit their personal and professional development needs.

Topics range from nurturing emerging talent and harnessing AI to safeguarding creativity and understanding the impact of consumer experience on event outcomes.

Calder says the Knowledge Program has gone from strength to strength, with this year’s agenda set to provide unparalleled insights, inspiration and intelligence for event professionals.

“We are thrilled to have such inspirational and exciting industry leaders sharing their incredible insights and expertise across a full day of education and professional growth opportunities for attendees,” she says.
