Designed to immerse guests in captivating visual environments, the installation brings event stories to life across the room. From branded product reveals to destination-inspired celebrations, organisers can integrate event branding, sponsor messages and bespoke themes into the experience.
“It is not just a technology upgrade; it is a reimagining of what a ballroom can offer,” said Park Hyatt Melbourne’s general manager, Oliver Kahf.
“Our vision is to create a space where imagination and innovation come together, giving event organisers the freedom to bring extraordinary experiences to life.”
The hotel has announced the immersive ballroom and confirmed that installation works are underway. The experience is a first of its kind in the region, with availability for events starting this month.
For business events, the system is designed to accommodate familiar 16:9 presentations alongside ultra-wide, wraparound panoramic visuals, motion graphics or scenic environments. Organisers can incorporate existing videos, logos and photography, subject to technical requirements, or commission bespoke content to create a distinctive experience.
Visual environments can transition between conference sessions, dinner courses and award presentations, building anticipation and changing the atmosphere without extensive physical set changes.
A digital recreation of the ballroom’s original walls will also be available for events seeking a more traditional setting.
Park Hyatt Melbourne’s events team will work with audiovisual partner Microhire to help bring each event vision to life, combining immersive technology with the hotel’s luxury hospitality.
