Sid Singh, who has been with TFE Hotels for 16 years, has been promoted from cluster general manager to area general manager for New South Wales and is also the new GM for Adina Darling Harbour.
It’s a return to the Adina for Singh who was previously the property’s hotel manager.
With plenty of experience within individual property’s in TFE’s Sydney portfolio, Singh will now oversee it in its entirety.
Meanwhile, further south, TFE’s current area general manager for the Australian Capital Territory and southern New South Wales, Jay Hore, will add Adina Wollongong to his oversight.
Like Singh, Hore is a long-time staffer at TFE, having been with the hotel group for over 18 years.
“These promotions recognise the significant contribution Sid and Jay have made to TFE Hotels, and the leadership they have demonstrated throughout their careers with us,” said TFE’s senior director of operations for Australia and New Zealand, Tish Nyar.
“We wish them every success in their expanded portfolios.”
Back in Sydney, Shaarn Letele, who helmed the closure and reopening of Adina Darling Harbour around its renovation, has been appointed general manager of Vibe Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour.
Letele has been with TFE for more than 17 years, working across a variety of brands.
“Shaarn Letele has built a strong track record across our hotels and projects and is a respected leader within the business,” said Nyar.
“His operational experience and steady leadership will be invaluable as he leads Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour and its venues, Above 319 and the Sussex Store.”
Nyar is also having his role expanded, shifting focus to strategic operations and alignment across TFE’s portfolio in both Australia and New Zealand, while current regional GM for Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, Ajay Vaid, will also take on oversight of Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
In Queensland, the general manager of Adina Brisbane, Briana Hill, is moving to a cluster oversight position, looking after all three Adina properties in Brisbane.
