Tākina: A venue with purpose
At the centre of Wellington is Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, a modern, sustainable venue built for flexibility.
Its name, Tākina, means “to invoke” in te reo Māori – a reflection of its role in sparking ideas and collaboration.
With spaces for up to 1,600 delegates, built-in AV and a prime location opposite the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Tākina offers an environment designed for impact while meeting the highest environmental standards.
When the New Zealand Dental Association hosted its annual conference at Tākina, organisers praised the venue and support.
