The 387-room hotel is located on York St in Sydney’s CBD between Darling Harbour and the city’s major shopping precinct.
The Grace Hotel has 11 meeting spaces, the largest of which can host 400 delegates standing, 279 in theatre or 240 in banquet.
“The Grace Hotel Sydney is an iconic building in the heart of Sydney, so naturally we’re thrilled to be appointed as its exclusive in-house audio-visual partner,” said Microhire’s regional general manager for New South Wales and New Zealand, Geoff Townend.
“With the hotel’s revitalised event spaces, Microhire has delivered a comprehensive technology refresh and uplift – seamlessly integrated to enhance flexibility, reliability and the guest experience.”
The technology upgrade includes 4K laser projectors, AI-powered video cameras that use facial and body recognition capabilities to automatically track the movement of speakers, new audio systems and Microhire’s own EngageME software that connects those in meeting rooms directly with Microhire and hotel staff.
“Our newly upgraded conference spaces are a game-changer for event organisers seeking a venue that balances character with functionality,” said The Grace Hotel’s general manager, Andrew Allen.
“We’ve enhanced our capabilities, introduced contemporary features and created versatile layouts that allow each event to be customised to meet client needs.
“Whether hosting a strategic planning session, a large corporate function or a social event, The Grace Hotel is now better equipped than ever.”
