Positioned in a sundrenched corner of the centre on the third floor with its own private balcony, overlooking a 50-acre park and Kuala Lumpur’s famous PETRONAS Twin Towers, the space for small groups features lots of tech and a lean towards bringing your own device.
“Today’s delegates are tech savvy and expect venues to cater to their needs,” said KLCC’s head of technical services, Alifhazwah Mohd Yahaya.
“We want to meet these expectations, not by offering the latest in gadgets, but by offering the right solution for each event, maximising the benefits for our clients and guests.
“Whether that is seamless connections across the globe or within the same space, our goal is to promote better engagement and ensure a truly exciting event experience.”
The space features a 136-inch LED screen along with an 86-inch interactive screen, a smart office system and occupancy sensors. The technology in the room enables multiple device connections, content casting, paperless meetings and energy conservation.
The venue has paired the new space with a package called SmartConnect@301, which serves up the room with food and beverage and a technical specialist.
“We are thrilled to introduce our new and revamped meeting space equipped with innovative features and dedicated premium services,” said KLCC’s general manager, John Burke.
“This refurbishment marks the latest phase in our ongoing efforts to ensure our product and solutions remain competitive and relevant to the ever-evolving needs of meeting organisers and attendees.
“Catering to organisers seeking a distinctive and technologically advanced meeting environment, this space offers new user-friendly and eco-conscious features.
“The launch of our refreshed meeting room and its SmartConnect@301 solutions package underscores our unwavering commitment to providing the right environment for learning, business or leisure.
“With ongoing upgrades planned for completion throughout the year and beyond, we are confident that these enhancements will not only meet but exceed our clients’ and stakeholders’ evolving needs and expectations, further solidifying our position as the region’s leading venue of choice,” said Burke.
The new space can accommodate between 30 and 50 delegates, in various configurations.
