Construction on Hilton’s first iconic luxury Waldorf Astoria branded hotel has begun at One Circular Quay, with the 28-floor hotel expected to open in early 2025.
The hotel will comprise 179 rooms and 41 suites and will be the first for the brand in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, with just six other Waldorf Astoria properties in Asia Pacific. There are currently 20 other properties under the brand in Hilton’s global pipeline.

The One Circular Quay address will also accommodate a 61-level luxury residential tower.
The design for Waldorf Astoria Sydney will be overseen by two architecture firms – one based in Tokyo and Crone Architects, based in Sydney.
