As reported in the SMH and The Age newspapers this week, a former manager of clothing chain Sussan is suing his former employee for $800,000 after he claims he was coerced into dancing with a Kylie Minogue impersonator at a company conference in Melbourne in 2015.

The SMH reports the man was coerced onto the stage where he was “asked deeply personal and humiliating questions by the impersonator”.

Since the incident the man claims he has only been able to work over the phone and can only have limited face-to-face contact.

The matter returns to court on March 5.
