CHINA The Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai (CPIT Shanghai) and Reed Exhibitions have formed an alliance to better manage changes in the local exhibition market.
The agreement is aimed at strengthening bilateral exchange, with Reed and CPIT Shanghai establishing mechanisms to disseminate critical experience and information through investigations of long-term projects and sharing of opinions on key industry matters.
Reed Exhibitions Greater China president, Nat Wong said the company is currently witnessing unprecedented dynamism in the local exhibition market, along with rising expectations from participants.
“To ensure that Reed can embrace the challenges of operating in an intensely competitive industry, we need to forge strategic relationships with partners who share the same values, ambition and dedication to quality as we do.”
The memorandum of understanding was endorsed after high-level talks between CPIT Shanghai vice chairman Wang Lie and Reed’s Mr Wong.
