The Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCOA) is encouraging the events industry to lead by example and get vaccinated against COVID-19 so the country can get back to business and events.
The association is giving away a free registration for its national conference in December to one lucky industry stakeholder who submits an image of themselves getting vaccinated either via social media by tagging #vaccinateforevents and #pcoa or by submitting the image directly to the PCOA via email.
PCOA staff and most of its Councillors across Australia are already vaccinated. Councillors are also encouraging their staff to get vaccinated.
“PCOA Councillors are setting the benchmark by ensuring they are vaccinated. The latest Delta variant demonstrates the vaccine is an important consideration in getting back to normal and we want to be out there first,” said PCOA President Barry Neame.
