The Professional Conference Organisers Association has postponed its December conference to January 29-30, 2022 in wake of the ongoing outbreaks and lockdowns in New South Wales and Victoria.

“What we have learnt from our members and business partners is that our business events community wants for nothing more than getting back together and reconnecting,” said PCOA President Barry Neame.

“In making this decision, the PCOA councillors wanted to reduce any uncertainty around travel prior to Christmas.

“As our community navigates the uncertainty of the border closures, social distancing, self-isolation and bringing large groups of people together we believe the postponement of PCOA21 to 29 – 31 January 2022 will give us all a much better chance of getting back together again.”

The conference will be held in Hobart, as planned.

Alongside the announcement of the postponement, the PCOA also urged the industry to get vaccinated and encourage all those in the personal and professional networks to do the same.
