Regional – Pan Pacific Hotels Group has recently announced plans to expand its portfolio across Asia Pacific with new properties in Australia, China, and Myanmar.
Four management contracts have been signed for three PARKROYAL properties and one “Pan Pacific” hotel, which will bring the total number of properties owned and/or managed to 38.
Australia will see a PARKROYAL hotel in Melbourne opening in 2016 in the Digital Harbour Precinct of Melbourne Docklands, a premium waterfront development which is part of an on-going CBD renewal project.
As the second PARKROYAL in Melbourne, the 281-room property will span the first 18 storeys of The Altus, a 37-storey hotel and apartment complex, and will be one of the first hotels in Docklands targeting an Award of Merit under the Docklands Ecologically Sustainable Development Guide.
China will be welcoming the PARKROYAL Chengdu and Pan Pacific Zhuhai in 2017. The first PARKROYAL in China will be located along the iconic Sha River as part of a mixed-used development comprising high-end residential units, a hotel, office, and retail spaces. The 360-room hotel will offer ballroom and meeting spaces, and a number of F&B outlets.
Meanwhile, Pan Pacific Zhuhai will be a 300-room property situated next to the bustling Gongbei Business Circle and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge currently under construction. It will be offering conference facilities, an all-day dining restaurant, executive lounge, lobby bar and lounge, a swimming pool and gym, accompanied with views of Macau.
Myanmar will welcome its second PARKROYAL in the capital, Nay Pyi Taw this April. PARKROYAL Nay Pyi Taw will be featuring 180 rooms, a range of meeting facilities, an all-day dining restaurant, spa, gym, and swimming pool.
The property is also strategically located within the vicinity of Myanmar International Convention Centre, which is the official venue of government functions.
