AUSTRALIA Air India has announced the launch of a daily triangulated service from Delhi to Sydney and Melbourne from August 29, which Business Events Sydney CEO, Lyn Lewis Smith believed will welcome more Indian corporate incentive events to Sydney.
“We’ve long identified the potential of the Indian business event market, but have struggled to support our clients with seamless travel options.”
The much-awaited announcement is also expected to benefit Sydney’s association clients, according to Ms Smith.
“Sydney’s ability to attract delegates from the Asia Pacific region continues to be an important and strategic benefit for international associations hosting their events in our city.”
