Kingsley, the newest hotel from Crystalbrook Collection will open in Newcastle, NSW on June 15.
The latest addition to the hotel group’s collection continues the brand’s sustainable ethos, which includes a zero-waste bathroom, no single-use plastics throughout the hotel and 80 percent of produce for the rooftop restaurant and bar coming from within three hours of the property.
The 130-room hotel takes over what was originally Newcastle’s City Administration Centre.
Kingsley’s General Manager, Carl Taranto, said weaving the city’s culture and history into the hotel’s personality was vital.
“Championing Newcastle’s heritage and embracing the city’s shifting landscape is at the heart of the hotel.
“Locals and visitors alike will be able to see this threaded through the interior design, which is a contemporary take on our mining history, and in our partnerships, our restaurant and bar concepts and in our food and beverage offering
“This is a significant and immensely exciting opening for both Newcastle and Crystalbrook Collection’s growing portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts,” he said.
The hotel will have two meeting spaces, a boardroom for 10 and another meeting room with capacity for 28 people.
