As reported in The Age today, the lack of available space in Melbourne has been Sydney’s gain with the harbour city playing host this week and last to 3000 high achievers from the Perfect China direct marketing group that initially planned to hold the event in the Victorian capital.

The group came to Sydney in three waves of 1000 undertaking business sessions at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, seeing the city from atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and heading out to the Hawkesbury for an authentic rural experience at Tobruk Sheep Station.

Melbourne Convention Bureau CEO, Karen Bolinger, was quoted in The Age as saying the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre was already booked for the times and dates needed for Pacific China.

A full report on the event will appear in the next edition of micenet AUSTRALIA.
