DOMA Hotels has picked up a prime hotel site on Adelaide’s North Terrace, with a 23-storey 214-key Little National Hotel to be built directly opposite the Adelaide Convention Centre.

DOMA Hotels already operates two compact “affordable luxury” Little National properties in Canberra and Sydney and is set to open an 180-room Little National in Newcastle next year.

Construction on the Adelaide hotel is expected to begin this year, with the hotel anticipated to open in 2024.

The hotel will have 140 standard rooms, 26 “Big” rooms and 48 one and two bedroom suites.

The property will also feature meeting rooms on the first floor and have a rooftop bar open to the public alongside a private lounge for guests.

“We are thrilled to be bringing our hotel offering to Adelaide,” said DOMA’s director of hotels, Patrick Lonergan.

“The Little National Hotel product is on the mark for today’s savvy and sophisticated traveller, delivered at a reasonable price point.

“Conveniently placed within walking distance of the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Oval, and all the food and beverage facilities of the Leigh and Peel laneways as well as the emerging Hindley Street entertainment facilities including the Hindley Street Music Hall, if you are visiting for business or pleasure, Little National has it all in a heartbeat.”
