Brisbane Pop-Up, featuring more than 50 exhibitors supplying business events in Brisbane, takes place next Wednesday, October 12 at the Royal International Convention Centre at Brisbane Showgrounds.
Organised by Brisbane’s business events bureau, Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA), exhibitors comprise Brisbane based hotels, venues, food and beverage providers, including recent additions to the market like Hotel X and Crystalbrook Vincent, expanding businesses making their mark on the local landscape, like Ghanem Group, and established players like Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and Westin Brisbane.
A handful of exhibitors from further afield – from the Gold Coast to Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast – will also be on hand to meet planners at the event.
“Brisbane is brimming with new products, services and refurbished premises, and it has a proven track record of planning, delivering and hosting unparalleled event experiences,” said BEDA CEO Anthony Ryan.
“As the city’s official convention bureau, Brisbane Economic Development Agency is capitalising on the return of travel and securing conferences and incentive travel for the city.
“Our annual event industry showcase, Brisbane Pop-Up, is the perfect opportunity to bring together the industry’s best for an evening of sharing, connection and celebration of our incredible world-class city and events sector.”
The theme of next week’s event is “carnival”, paying homage to the city’s many events and festivals.
“Brisbane is one of Australia’s fastest-growing cities and is alive with opportunity,” said Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner.
You can register to attend the showcase here, with BEDA advising registration by Friday October 7.
