One of Sydney’s major conference hotels has introduced two new options for small groups, with an outdoor option likely to appeal to the COVID-weary.

The 125m2 Regency Terrace Suite and the 194m2 Sydney Terrace Suite both have 34m2 outdoor terraces with panoramic water views which can host up to 12 people for a cocktail event or six for private dining.

Private dining can also be accommodated indoors and both suites can include a private chef or mixologist.

“The expanse of both terraces are a rarity in the Sydney market and are truly one-of-a-kind,” said Hyatt Regency Sydney’s general manager, Jane Lyons.

“The suites allow us the opportunity to deliver a more personalised, tailored and bespoke experience, along with the exceptional service and culinary experiences Hyatt Regency Sydney is renowned for.”

The 888-room hotel offers ample space for larger groups with two ballrooms – the largest measuring 897m2 – and 21 other meeting rooms and breakout spaces, with more than 3,700m2 of event space in all.
