A compelling program has been finalised for event managers and suppliers attending the PCO Association 2014 conference in Canberra (November 30 – December 2).
This year’s conference exhibition, following on from the success of the exhibition in Melbourne last year, has sold out, with 60 booths allocated to industry supporters wanting to maintain quality face-to-face time with delegates.
In other news, the PCO Association has announced the National Museum of Australia will host this year’s networking function to be held on Monday, December 1 in Canberra.
Conference chair, Peter Sugg, said he expected delegates will embrace the opportunity to network in a museum which has preserved and interpreted Australia’s social history since 1980.
‘The Doctor’, Scott Williams, Australia’s laughter specialist, will be back this year as master of ceremonies to entertain audiences. Keynote speakersinclude Holly Ransom, named as one of 2012’s 100 Most Influential Australian Women by the Australian Financial Review and Westpac, and Michael Hann, managing director and founder of Project Engage, who will challenge the way professionals are being educated and engaged.
Fuelled by constant changes in technology and the shifting expectations of convenors and delegates, there has never been a more exciting time to be part of the meetings industry.
