HONG KONG Until August 31, 2013, event groups comprising a minimum of 10 attendees can choose Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong’s new seaside retreat for off-site activities at a starting price of HK$450 (US$58) per guest.
The “Meetings & Success” package includes the use of venue spaces from nine to five, special organic blended tea and coffee served throughout the day, morning and afternoon tea breaks and a western three-course set lunch at Café bord de Mer, its signature restaurant.
A selection of five- to 10-minute activities will also be offered: “Meetings with Muscle” brings guests through a fitness session at the camp or one of the outdoor venues; “Movers and Shakers” introduces stretching exercises conducted prior to meetings, during breakout sessions, or at the end of the day; and “Cocktail Conference” involves a post-meeting cocktail at one of Auberge Discovery Bay’s alfresco dining spots.
The island destination is 25 minutes from the Hong Kong International Airport, and regular shuttle buses are available from Tung Chung and Sunny Bay MTR stations. Guests also have the option to cruise from Discovery Bay to Hong Kong’s Central District via high-speed ferry link.
Auberge comprises over 1300 square metres of event space, including a Grand Azure ballroom capable of hosting cocktail receptions for up to 700 guests, seven multi-purpose function rooms in various sizes, and unique venues such as cocktail-ideal Bounty Bar and the High Tide Pool Deck.
