If the number of attendees at Destination Asia’s turnout in Sydney yesterday is anything to go by, then Asian destinations are going to see a bumper 2019 courtesy of the Australian corporate meetings and incentive travel sector.

It was wall-to-wall business event planners from both corporate and agencies at Chii Town in Surry Hills where Destination Asia Australia representative Nicole Naylor introduced global director of sales, Katie Buxton, and new Singapore MD, Matt Smith, who once worked at 212f Down Under.

Ms Naylor said in 2018 Destination Asia managed more than 350,000 visitors in Asia, with Australia the company’s second largest source market.
