The Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch is set to reopen on May 1 following extensive repairs sustained during the February 2011 earthquake.

Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch general manager Brad Watts says staff are excited about the hotel’s re-opening and looking forward to welcoming guests through the doors again.

“The hotel is looking fantastic and we’re thrilled to be in a position to re-open and again provide high quality accommodation within the city centre for people visiting either for business or for leisure,” Mr Watts said.

The 171-room property is now taking bookings from May 1 and for a limited time is offering guests 10 per cent off the best available rate every day of the week as well as free internet connectivity and local telephone calls and discounted charges for other hotel services.

Rendezvous Hospitality Group CEO, Eric Teng, said the company was delighted to be able to welcome guests back.

“Christchurch is on track to be one of the best small cities in the world and we are pleased to be part of that. All of our hotels work harder to provide superior value to each guest and we are excited to be able to open the doors of Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch.”
