Australia – Ahead of the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) happening in Melbourne next week, Melbourne Convention Bureau’s (MCB) CEO, Karen Bolinger, revealed that the welcome reception will pop up at a location to be revealed only two days before the date.

“Melbourne is renowned for its weird and wonderful pop-up culture and that is exactly what we are replicating for the AIME Welcome Reception this year,” she said.

The Welcome Reception, with Peter Jones Special Events in charge, will be taking place on February 17 with opportunities for AIME delegates to network with industry professionals in an informal setting before the two-day tradeshow commences.

Ms Bolinger hinted that the event will be held within a five-minute walk of Melbourne’s iconic Flinders Street Station, and promised that it will offer delegates a chance to experience the city’s eclectic and inspirational vibe.

Owned by MCB, AIME is currently the largest business expo in the country, with more than 750 exhibitors and 3500 business events and travel delegates expected to attend at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from February 18-19, 2014.
