The recent opening of Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is a welcome addition to the luxurious and contemporary venue options in the Malaysian capital.
Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur recently opened its doors in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) with a presence that exudes contemporary grandeur and a commitment to introduce the hotel chain’s hospitality not just in the Malaysian capital but also to business travelers from Asia and beyond.
Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur general manager, Mr Robert Dallimore, said, “We are very excited to be present in Kuala Lumpur and very fortunate to have an amazing property in such a strategic location. The Grand Hyatt brand is known to host great events and it is with this positive enthusiasm that we bring the Hyatt event experience to Kuala Lumpur. We believe that when requirements, however big or small, of an event are addressed and are graciously handled, it would lead to a successful outcome. With this in mind, we humbly strive to achieve the same recognition as our sister properties.”
For meetings and events that stand out
The building was designed by architects WATG, supported by project architects GDP, and the interior designed by Bilkey Llinas Design, the hotel exudes contemporary grandeur set to impress MICE planners with its offering of six unique venues that cover more than 3300 sqm of exclusive meetings and events space.
The venues were built with circular curves to create a softer and more comfortable ambience, providing flexible seating arrangements to accommodate varying event needs. The oval-shaped pillar less grand ballroom and grand salon is ideal for gala events, displaying a dazzling backdrop of energy efficient crystal chandelier that cover the entire ceiling.
To recognise event planners, Hyatt created the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards where planners can redeem travel rewards, future meeting credits and more.
A first in Kuala Lumpur
Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is the first hotel in Kuala Lumpur to feature Hyatt’s innovative residential-style meeting concept that spans more than 1000 sq m. The welcoming and functional entertainment space gives meeting and event planners a venue that is similar to hosting a chic event in a private home.
Equipped with individual projector, drop down screen, sound system and MP3 docking station, each of the four venues that make up the Grand Residence, is an ideal space to utilise as one whole venue for product launches and art exhibitions or for events such as exclusive meetings and cocktail receptions that require a capacity anywhere form 20 to 330 guests.
Mindful of the business travelers’ needs, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur also offers total connectivity making sure all conference rooms have flexible, reliable and high-speed connection – little things that matter a lot, to every MICE planner.
