Following an $11 million refurbishment, part of the Mantra Twin Towns Coolangatta has been transformed into a new Sebel offering, servicing the Twin Towns complex, including its sizeable event spaces.
The Sebel Twin Towns Coolangatta, offering 120 rooms, has taken over the ocean tower of the Mantra’s existing property and now sits side-by-side with the Mantra Twin Towns Coolangatta, which has a new room count of 210.
“We are excited to bring The Sebel, a hotel brand of stature and presence, to the Gold Coast,” said Accor Pacific CEO Sarah Derry.
“The Sebel has an exceptional reputation for delivering world-class accommodation and an outstanding guest service experience.”
Twin Towns Clubs and Resorts, a licenced club group, sits right on the New South Wales-Queensland border, 10 minutes from Gold Coast airport.
The towers include nine event spaces, with the largest able to accommodate 1,050 delegates in theatre.
“After five years of planning, we are thrilled to welcome The Sebel brand to Twin Towns and look forward to the future success of this new partnership,” said Twin Towns CEO Rob Smith.
“The $11 million transformation has elevated the hotel rooms to a brand new level of style and sophistication.”
