Myanmar – Accor has joined a new partner to develop three more hotels in Myanmar, making it a total of six projects over the next three years.

According to Accor vice-president for Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines, Patrick Basset, the signed agreements with Myat Min Co., Ltd. makes it one of the largest hospitality partnerships in Myanmar.

Pullman Yangon Myat Min will be the first Pullman hotel in Myanmar. Slated to be completed in 2015, the contemporary upscale hotel will offer 300 rooms, two restaurants and two bars, four banquet and meeting rooms, a fitness centre, swimming pool and spa facilities.

The Sebel Yangon Myat Min will be a premium serviced 100-room apartment hotel, located near the Pullman property. It will offer a restaurant, a bar, two meeting rooms, a swimming pool and fitness centre. It will also be the first development in Asia under The Sebel name.

The third hotel, Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min, will be an upper midscale hotel located on the banks of Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s stunning natural attractions. The 121-room hotel will open in 2014 with three restaurants, two bars, a ballroom, two meeting rooms, a business centre, a swimming pool, a fitness centre and spa facilities.
