Tourism New Zealand’s (TNZ) work in the business events sector is in full swing, as the organisation secures a presence at several industry trade shows in an effort to target key international markets.
“Tourism New Zealand’s attendance at important trade events over the coming months is part of our commitment to growing the New Zealand business events profile in the international sector,” TNZ’s international business events manager, Bjoern Spreitzer, said.
The organisation recently joined forces with Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) on a 100% Pure New Zealand stand at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) held last week in Melbourne and, in April, will embark on its third Business Events Roadshow into China.
Key industry operators, including destination management companies and convention bureaux, will head into market with TNZ, will the hope of meeting qualified incentive agents, conference planners and corporate end users from Shanghai and Beijing through structured business sessions and networking events.
Industry partners will also attend IMEX Frankfurt, which kicks off in May, where Tourism New Zealand will also have a presence.
“Key industry from across New Zealand will be joining us at each of the events – providing them valuable networking opportunities, while also offering the chance to learn from event attendees how to cater to their specific market requirements.”
