Luxury travel trade exhibition, Luxperience, is introducing a gala dinner and awards ceremony at this year’s event in September, The inaugural Luxperience Awards will acknowledge excellence in the development and promotion of  luxury travel products and services and will be judged by a panel of travel industry experts. There will be six awards for buyers and suppliers in three categories: ‘Inspiring’, ‘Meaningful’ and ‘Connections’. NEWS: Outrigger on show

Outrigger Resorts representatives from Hawaii, Mauritius, the Maldives, Fiji and Thailand joined with their Australian and New Zealand counterparts for the Outrigger Resorts Global Showcase last week. NEWS: AIME 2015 attendance up

Attendance figures to this year’s Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) increased by five per cent, according CAB audited figures released today by event organisers. In total, 4776 attendees, including 2574 international and domestic trade visitors, participated in the two-day show that took place in February. 488 hosted buyers from 19 different countries were in attendance, 40 per cent of whom were first-time visitors to AIME. The annual Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) kicks off next week, with a revamped program that features new networking opportunities, a gala dinner, and a redesigned show floor. The team behind luxury travel tradeshow, Luxperience, recently announced two new appointments help the show reach new limits in 2015. David Paterson joins the team as the senior sales and sponsorships manager, while Rachelle Del Rosario will take on the business development manager role.
