The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) was announced a winner in three categories at last night’s 2014 Victorian Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) Industry Awards. MCEC was took out the award for Meeting Venue 500 delegates or more, Banqueting and Catering, and In-house AV Services (for the fifth consecutive year). NEWS: MCEC best venue team for AIDS 2014

The venue team that successfully delivered Australia’s largest health and development conference for Melbourne was recognised at the 2014 EEAA Awards for Excellence this month. Tributes were paid to the six delegates who lost their lives aboard flight MH17 at the opening session of the 20th International AIDS Conference in Melbourne over the weekend. NEWS: Melbourne to host public health congress in 2017

Melbourne has secured the right to host the 15th World Congress on Public Health (WCPH) in 2017, to be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
