Luxury travel trade exhibition, Luxperience, is introducing a gala dinner and awards ceremony at this year’s event in September, The inaugural Luxperience Awards will acknowledge excellence in the development and promotion of  luxury travel products and services and will be judged by a panel of travel industry experts. The team behind luxury travel tradeshow, Luxperience, recently announced two new appointments help the show reach new limits in 2015. David Paterson joins the team as the senior sales and sponsorships manager, while Rachelle Del Rosario will take on the business development manager role. NEWS: Crown’s new Melbourne hotel

Crown Resorts Limited today announced plans to develop a new five-star hotel and apartment complex in Melbourne. The proposed site, on Queensbridge Street, Southbank, is opposite the Crown Melbourne Integrated Resort and controlled by the Schiavello Group. Crown has agreed to an initial investment of $50 million to participate in the joint development of the project with Schiavello.
