Attendance figures to this year’s Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) increased by five per cent, according CAB audited figures released today by event organisers. In total, 4776 attendees, including 2574 international and domestic trade visitors, participated in the two-day show that took place in February. 488 hosted buyers from 19 different countries were in attendance, 40 per cent of whom were first-time visitors to AIME. Research and analysis following EIBTM 2014 (recently rebranded as ibtm world) revealed 97 per cent of exhibitors who participated in last year’s event said it is important for their business.
