The NSW Government has announced a 25 per cent increase in its tourism budget over the next four years to make Sydney the number one destination for major events. Las Vegas welcomed a record 41.1 million visitors in 2014, a figure that includes nearly 5.2 million convention and meeting delegates. The 2014 year-end statistics, released this week by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), point to continued recovery for Las Vegas tourism with increases in all of the key visitation indicators.
