Attendance figures to this year’s Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) increased by five per cent, according CAB audited figures released today by event organisers. In total, 4776 attendees, including 2574 international and domestic trade visitors, participated in the two-day show that took place in February. 488 hosted buyers from 19 different countries were in attendance, 40 per cent of whom were first-time visitors to AIME. NEWS: Mantra joins Christchurch revitalisation

The continuing renaissance of Christchurch is set for further rejuvenation with Mantra Group announcing it will manage the fully reconstructed 263-room hotel located at 165 Cashel Street when it reopens in April 2015 as the BreakFree on Cashel Christchurch. The hotel, formerly the All Seasons, was a highly successful concept and the largest hotel in the South Island, however it remained closed after the February 2011 earthquakes.
