Auckland will play host to an expected audience of 1300 international delegates after a successful joint bid to host a major global livestock genetics congress in February 2018. Auckland recently won a bid to host the 4th World Journalism Education Congress in 2016, a win that comes after a successful start to the financial year for business event in Auckland.
