Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) chief executive Sue Sullivan says demand has been high from both exhibitors and buyers seeking to participate in this year’s MEETINGS trade show.

“We are delighted with the excellent field of exhibitors already signed up, and the speed of reaction to our call for hosted buyers this year.

“We will be showcasing New Zealand’s renowned hospitality and creative talents with a host of networking opportunities across three days,” she said

The event kicks off starts with welcome function on June 9, followed by two days of meetings and a gala dinner on June 11.

Along with clsoe to 180 Australian and New Zealand buyers, Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand are inviting more than 35 international buyers, and are reporting a surge of interest from North American incentive buyers this year.

Exhibitor stands are in demand for the event at ASB Showgrounds, with new exhibitors including several from Northland and Wanaka joining MEETINGS for the first time.

The Luxury Collection, a highly successful new feature launched at MEETINGS last year, is quickly establishing itself as the one of the premium opportunities for the country’s luxury operators.
