Attendance figures to this year’s Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) increased by five per cent, according CAB audited figures released today by event organisers.

In total, 4776 attendees, including 2574 international and domestic trade visitors, participated in the two-day show that took place in February.

488 hosted buyers from 19 different countries were in attendance, 40 per cent of whom were first-time visitors to AIME.

Exhibitors from 37 countries were showcased across the newly designed show floor, with five per cent exhibiting for the first time in the show’s 23-year history. This included Hoyts Corporate Solutions, Entegy, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and Samoa Tourism Authority.

The AIME team is currently in the process of collating its annual post-show survey results and reviewing industry feedback.
