Four Points by Sheraton has made its debut in Brisbane.

Owned by Felicity Hotel Pty Ltd., Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane is the first globally branded, new-build property to open in Brisbane’s central business district (CBD) in more than a decade. It is also the brand’s fourth property in Australia, joining Four Points hotels in Sydney, Geelong and Perth.

Four Points is a key player in a new generation of sleek and modern mid-market hotels in Australia, reportedly delivering honest, uncomplicated comfort and exceptional guest services.

“It’s always a good sign for Brisbane’s economy when major international brands set up shop and serve as a drawcard for interstate and international tourists,” said Lord Mayor Graham Quirk.

“It’s an exciting day for Brisbane to welcome the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel and it’s great to have Starwood back in our city after more than a decade.”

Minister for Tourism, Major Events, Small Business and the Commonwealth Games Jann Stuckey added “The addition of the first internationally branded hotel in the Brisbane CBD in over 10 years shows a renewed confidence in not only our industry, but the Brisbane hotel and accommodation market. The Newman Government is working hard to maximise visitor numbers to the State and achieve our goal of doubling annual overnight visitor expenditure from $15 billion in 2010 to $30 billion by 2020. This new venture will contribute to boosting visitation and help to get Queensland back on track.”

Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane is located in a contemporary 32-story tower designed by Brisbane-based Noel Robinson Architects at the heart of the city. The hotel features 246 guest rooms, a fully equipped fitness centre and all of the brand’s popular amenities and services including fast and free WiFi, complimentary bottled water, fresh coffee in the lobby, and the Best Brews local craft beer program.

Four Points offers 312 square metres of naturally-lit, flexible meeting space equipped with state-of-the-art technology. In addition, an exclusive, covered rooftop venue on level 30 called Altitude offers spectacular views across the city and river.
