The Curated Plate – The Sunshine Coast’s inaugural food festival – took place between August 8 and 11, attracting some 13,000 visitors.

The aim of the festival was to showcase the region as a food destination, with local producers and restaurateurs starring alongside national and international chefs to provide visitors with a local taste.

A pop up restaurant on Mooloolaba Beach (pictured) provided a picturesque venue for the feature events, while a food fair at Cotton Tree Park proved highly popular with a range of masterclasses, cooking demonstrations and fine-food options.

The event is scheduled to return in August 2020.
