Styling is at the heart of any event and, if it’s done well, it can have a direct impact on an event’s success. Events by Luxperience 2016 will be introducing a new series of business sessions, one of which will focus on styling. It will feature presentations from innovative and thought provoking industry specialists. They will give attendees their insights and trend predictions for event styling, as well as the knowledge and inspiration to create a truly one of a kind, #solxuperience event.

Once again for 2016 Luxperience will be partnering with event styling experts Decorative Events and Exhibitions. The team from Decorative Events & Exhibitions work with clients to plan and execute events from start to finish, working on concept, design 3D renders, production, signage, branding, installation, styling and logistics.

Great styling creates the perfect mood to reflect the true sense of an event and the important messages of the brand. A design team should recognise the strong correlation between matching a design concept to an event and its attendees, and the positive effect is has on the event’s overall success. Two event styling trends as observed by the styling team at Decorative Events and Exhibitions this season are Jungle Funk and Miss Marie Antoinette Masquerade.

Jungle Funk, African influence coupled with funk inspired prints and patterns from the 70’s creates a juxtaposed look that is on trend with its clashing patterns, bold and dramatic prints, and pops of colours that are then balanced with lush greenery and raw organic timber surfaces. This fun loving theme is perfect for a sophisticated audience that want to relax and enjoy a fun filled event.

Miss Marie Antoinette Masquerade is a look of opulence, decadence and excess. This look is created by way of featuring a pallet of rich colours, textured fabrics, glistening golds and shimmering crystal. Attention to detail is crucial and is achieved by layering of the table scape to create detail, decadence and depth. This style is perfect for an incentive or award event as it makes guests feel truly special, rewarded and appreciated.
