Singapore – Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will soon be home to the Republic of Korea’s renowned Trickeye Museum, a new 800-sqm interactive museum expected to enhance the appeal of the integrated resort’s diverse incentive offering once it opens mid-2014.

Expected to be sited at the waterfront of RWS, it will feature six theme zones – love, circus, masterpieces, safari, fairytale, and adventure – with 80 three-dimensional paintings and optical illusion masterpieces.

Derived from the French compound word – Trompe-l’oeil – or “trick of the eye”, guests can expect paintings that stim

ulate creativity and imagination techniques through their vision, with interactive artworks taking into account some of the most unique aspects of Singapore.

Trickeye Museum director, Sujin Seong, believed RWS is a prime spot to set up the concept’s first overseas venture after the 2010 launch in Seoul.

“We believe that Trickeye Museum will complement the resort’s existing offerings and provide more compelling reasons for tourists and business travellers from around the world to come visit.”

The W

aterfront area will also be developed into a Korean cluster, with six shop fronts with Korean dining and retail offerings, expected to extend the length of visitor stays and provide more options for event planners.

Apart from Seoul, Trickeye museum has also opened two other museums in Busan and Jeju.
