Hong Kong – Qantas has launched a new lounge in the Hong Kong airport with 12 showers, a family zone, flexible working area, and a capacity to seat 300 guests.
The Hong Kong lounge builds on the success of the Qantas Singapore Lounge, which features menus designed by consulting chef Neil Perry based on his Rockpool and Spice Temple restaurants. A partnership with Sofitel also offers a consistent experience across Qantas’ lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, and Singapore.
Services include a hosted experience for customers travelling in First and Platinum One Qantas Frequent Flyers, with shirt-pressing, shoe-shining and priority access to showers.
Guests are open to F&B and cocktail options from the Spice Temple BBQ Bar and yum cha trolleys to an extensive buffet or a locally-influenced plate of the day.
Qantas International CEO, Simon Hickey, commented: “All of our flights from Hong Kong to Australia are overnight, so we know customers will enjoy being able to dine in the lounge before they fly so they can maximise their sleep onboard.”
