The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and hotel group Marriott International have partnered up to help event organisers be best equipped for the various event formats necessitated by the pandemic and accompanying evolving public expectation.
The partnership will see event managers offered complimentary participation in PCMA’s Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification course when booking with some of Marriott Bonvoy’s properties in the APAC region.
“As we march towards full recovery for our industry, it is crucial that event professionals continue to adapt and equip themselves with the relevant skills and knowledge for success,” said Marriott’s Vice President of Global Sales for Asia Pacific Ramesh Daryanani.

The Digital Event Strategist course teaches the fundamentals of delivering hybrid events, including design, delivery, monetisation and measurement of the event.
