The Liberal-National Government has today announced a campaign to attract working holiday makers to Australia, in an attempt to boost regional tourism and assist farmers. ‘Australia Inc’ will run through the United Kingdom, France and Germany, targeting young people considering overseas travel for temporary work. Locations such as the Gold Coast and Magnetic Island will be showcased.

Minister for trade, tourism and investment Simon Birmingham said working holiday makers are an essential part of Australia’s agricultural and tourism industries, and are responsible for filling short-term workforce shortages and injecting $3 billion into the economy each year.

Great news, but what about business events?
