Preparation for the 2016 MEA National Conference is well underway and as always there is much speculation about what delegates can expect at this year’s event.

As announced earlier, the event is returning to Australia’s culture capital, Melbourne, and will focus on fresh new ideas for the business events industry by following the theme Breaking Convention.

MEA has already booked some amazing speakers for the event, and even have a little something up their sleeve with a “top-secret” keynote speaker to be announced in mid-January.

The brilliant Holly Ranson will be there to inspire the crowd. Likely to be Prime Minister one day, Ranson, who is not yet in her mid-20s, is already an exceptional speaker on innovation, leadership development, change management, and on engaging and retaining across the generational spread in the workplace.

Other amazing speakers lined up include Mark McCrindle who will talk about catering across different demographics and Shaun Coulton who will demonstrate the benefits of LinkedIn for individuals and businesses.

As for MEA’s top-secret keynote, he’s one of the most sought after speakers in the country and an expert in marketing. He is often on TV demonstrating his marketing knowledge, however, you may also know him for his work on reaching your mental potential. His presentation will give delegates the tools to tap into their own potential that is already locked away in their brain.

The MEA national convention is a hive of event knowledge and an excellent opportunity for industry members to socialise and network. MEA2016 will feature fantastic presentations and workshops, but will also allow delegates a chance to get to meet and greet members of their own industry.

Early bird tickets are on sale soon, but they won’t last! Once they’re sold out the price will be back up to the standard price.

MEA2016 will be a fantastic event for those in the event industry. Whether you are a member of MEA or not it is a brilliant learning experience and great opportunity to break convention.
